Forged Steel Check Valve

Forged steel check valves are compact, high-performance valves engineered to prevent reverse flow in pipelines, especially in harsh environments such as refineries, petrochemical plants, and chemical processing units. Constructed with forged bodies and covers, they offer superior strength, corrosion resistance, and reliability under high-pressure and erosive conditions.

Designed to meet API 602, ISO 15761, and BS 10434 standards, these valves are available in ASME Classes 150 to 2500 LB, covering NPS 1/2 to 2 Inch sizes. End connection options include socket weld (SW), threaded (S), butt-weld (BW), and integral flanged ends (RF, RTJ).

Available in piston, ball, and swing type configurations, they feature standard ports for low flow resistance, with full port options available on request. The internal design includes an integral ring with body-welded liner for piston and ball types, and a renewable seat ring for swing types to ensure tight sealing and extended service life.

These valves are manufactured with flanged or welded hood designs and tested according to API 598 standards to ensure operational integrity. Their compact, forged construction and versatile design make them ideal for critical flow protection and backflow prevention in demanding industrial systems. They are compliant with API 622, API 624, and ISO 15848-1, ensuring low-emission performance.
