Cast Steel Check Valve

Cast steel check valves are designed to prevent backflow in systems like refineries, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, and oil industry processes. These valves are built to withstand harsh conditions, including corrosion and erosion, while ensuring reliable protection against reverse flow, often installed downstream of pumps.

The valve is designed in compliance with API 594 Type B, ISO 15761, and BS 1868 standards, offering durability and efficiency in demanding environments. Available in NPS 2-48 Inch, these valves are offered in various ASME Classes (150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, 2500 LB) and feature a flanged hood design for easy installation.

The swing type disc provides a standard port with a 70% opening, ensuring optimal flow control. The disc anti-rotation system prevents the disc from rotating 360 degrees, even under high flow conditions. The thick walls of the valve enhance its service life, especially in corrosive environments.
Additionally, the valve meets the high standards of API-598 for performance testing and includes RF or RTJ finishes in accordance with ASME B16.5, offering a variety of installation options. The valve is also compliant with ASME B16.34 for refurbishing, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting solution for backflow prevention in critical applications.
