This disc-type steam trap factory in China produces high-performance steam traps in carbon steel (ASTM A105) and 12Cr1MoV alloy steel, designed for durability and high-temperature resistance. Available in sizes DN15–DN50 (1/2–2 inches), these traps are rated for high pressures up to PN110 and PN160. They come with versatile end connections including threaded, socket weld (SW), and flanged options, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial steam systems requiring reliable condensate discharge.

Disc-Type Steam Trap Working Principle and Application
When no condensate is produced in the superheated steam line, the trap remains closed, ensuring high operational quality. The valve body is made of alloy steel, and the valve disc is made of hard alloy. This trap is designed for high-pressure and high-temperature superheated steam, with a maximum allowable temperature of 550°C. It is durable and has a long service life. The disc-type steam trap operates based on the Bernoulli thermodynamic principle. It utilizes the different thermodynamic characteristics of steam and condensate to create changes in kinetic and potential energy, as well as static and dynamic pressure. These changes cause a pressure differential above and below the disc, initiating the opening and closing of the disc to achieve the purpose of blocking steam and draining condensate.
Structural Features
Compact size and light weight, with no restrictions on installation position.
All components are made of stainless steel, offering durability and corrosion resistance. It is resistant to freezing in outdoor environments, water hammer, and overheating.
Subcooling degree is 8°C, steam leakage rate is less than 3% of actual discharge, and back pressure is 50%.
Simple structure, easy to install and maintain.
