Stainless Steel Water Pressure Reducing Valve

This valve operates automatically using hydraulic pressure and can function both as a pressure reducing valve and as a pressure sustaining valve. When used as a pressure reducing valve, it maintains the water supply pressure at a preset safe value; when used as a pressure sustaining valve, it maintains the upstream water pressure of the main valve at a set value, ensuring the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve.

This product uses hydraulic pressure for automatic control, eliminating the need for additional equipment or energy sources, making it simple to maintain and versatile.

This series of valves is widely used in high-rise buildings, residential areas, and urban water supply systems.

Working Principle of Stainless Steel Water Safety Pressure Sustaining Valve

1. Pressure Reducing Function

When the pressure relief/pressure sustaining pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure relief state, water flows through the needle valve, main valve control chamber, ball valve A, pressure relief/pressure sustaining pilot valve, and ball valve B to the outlet, with the main valve in the open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety value set by the pressure relief/pressure sustaining pilot valve, the pressure relief pilot valve automatically opens, releasing some water through ball valve C to relieve pressure. When the pressure returns to the safety value, the pressure relief valve automatically closes. During the pressure relief function, all ball valves remain open.

2. Pressure Sustaining Function

When the pressure relief/pressure sustaining pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure sustaining state, as long as the main valve inlet water pressure is below the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve remains closed. The main function is to control the room pressure, and the main valve remains closed. When the upstream supply water pressure of the main valve exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pressure sustaining pilot valve opens, allowing the control chamber water to flow out through the ball valve reducing, the main valve pressure and starting to supply water, thus maintaining the upstream water pressure. During the pressure sustaining function, ball valve C is normally closed or blocked with a thread.
